As infinite, eternal, interconnected spiritual beings whose unchanging purpose is to love one another, it is essential to translate this love into practical action. Once put into action, this love will swell into a ‘rising tide that raises all boats’ around the world. For Eternea, this is where the rubber meets the road. It is where the proof in the pudding is to be delivered. It is the practical culmination of all else Eternea does.
To begin the long process of improving the quality of life for all things including our beloved planet, Eternea must practice what it preaches. It must lead by example. It must become the change it wishes to see take place in the world. Everyone within the Eternea ‘family’ must constantly display integrity, impeccability, love and unity. It must be an inspiration to the rest of the world, consistently trustworthy and credible as a resource for optimization of consciousness, self and society.
Eternea’s work is predicated on the central premise that we are eternal beings surrounded by infinite potential and that the primary purpose of existence is to love one another unconditionally. Eternea champions the abiding practice of this version of The Golden Rule: Love all things unconditionally; bring only unconditional love to all things; be unconditional love in action at all times. We must do these things gently and anonymously, with sincere humility and a generous heart, seeking nothing in return.
In a sincere effort apply this philosophy in ordinary life in the everyday world, Friends of Eternea will organize and undertake Outreach Initiatives to improve the quality of life for all things on the planet at the local level. These efforts are focused not only on human needs, but also on the needs of animals, the environment and the overall welfare of our planet generally, including earth’s entire eco-system.
Friends of Eternea is intended to be the membership division of Eternea open to the general public. Specific functions and activities of Friends of Eternea include creating and organizing local chapters at the community level all around the world; sponsoring local speakers bureaus and organizing/presenting educational programs at the community level concerning STEs/NLCEs; conducting local fund-raising events and membership drives; sponsoring support groups and meetings for people who have undergone an STE/NLCE, or who are grieving the loss of loved ones; volunteer recruitment, training and recognition efforts to maintain a diverse multi-skilled volunteer cadre that provides all manner of assistance to all facets of Eternea and help implement three primary showcase outreach programs as follows:
1. Love In Action Program (LIA): This program brings together a cadre of trained volunteers at the local level to undertake various goodwill tasks and projects intended to improve the quality of life in communities, towns, neighborhoods, towns, villages and cities all over the world. Examples of programs akin to this would be ‘Habitat for Humanity’, ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ campaigns, ‘Pay It Forward’ promotions, ‘Good Deeds Unlimited’, and so on. The list of specific types of projects LIA could undertake is determined by each Community Chapter of Friends of Eternea, driven by their own creativity, determination and resourcefulness. Local chapters will recruit, train and oversee volunteers for these purposes. They will also determine specific annual goals and priorities at the local level within the parameters of national guidelines.
2. Loving Each Other Global Campaign (LEO): This program teaches people all across the world practical methods to love one another unconditionally. It gives pragmatic guidance, as well as specific training, strategies, tools and methods to help people learn how to love each other in a routine manner as a regular part of everyday life. It also offers a comprehensive multi-faceted support system intended to give ongoing reinforcement and encouragement to people on a sustained regular basis who need help in their resolve to consistently apply unconditional love in their daily lives.
3. Distressed Animals Assistance Program (DAAP): Eternea provides funds, resources and supplies to volunteers at the local level in the aid of lost, abandoned, homeless and wild animals who are distressed to include dogs, cats, horses, birds and much more. Intervention efforts include feeding initiatives, rescue projects, adoption facilitation, trapping to tag, spay and neuter and veterinarian assistance to remedy wounds, illnesses and diseases.
Ultimately, Eternea hopes that LIA, LEO and DAAP’s programs will be adopted and sponsored by churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, ashrams, and other spiritual/religious organizations around the world, as they steadily evolve into their highest and best purpose as beacons of peace, love, harmony, unity, truth, cooperation and beauty in selfless service to the greater good of all. A vital aspect of Eternea’s mission is to empower them to serve this purpose by applying and devoting their existing resources, facilities, constituencies and infrastructures in fulfillment of these objectives.
